I did not buy these from Amazon, but from Target ($50 for camera and case). I had read reviews that the games and add-ons (like photo editor with stamping collection was not necessary), however, i find that this is very entertaining for the kids! I have twins that will be 5 in March '08 and they LOVE these cameras. They are extremely easy to use and the kids (when not taking pictures), love to be able to play the 3 games (tic tac toe, matching pairs and rotating pictures). The rotating pictures is cool because it uses the pictures that are on the camera. you can also take video and record your voice with a picture! All in all it is a pretty cool camera. Plus, we can sync it up with our Mac, which makes everything just wonderful! We decided not to try FP because we did the FP3 player last year and ended up taking it back because were were never able to get it to work on the Mac or PC.

I got this camera for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas and she loves it! I love that she can take 400 pictures on Christmas day (YES- that was FOUR HUNDRED, with an extra SD card) and I don't have to pay to have all those pictures developed.

The software and add-ins for the pictures are so cute! She loved giving her daddy rabbit ears in the picture, then putting him in "jail" with the software.

The picture quality is not great. You couldn't print an 8x10 with it or anything (but who really wants an 8x10 of their feet anyway?), but it is perfect for her to view on the computer and I can e-mail them to Grandma so she can see her budding photography skills.

The case that comes with this particular set is perfect for holding the camera and cables and extra face plate. It was the same price with or without the case at Target, so why not?

This is a great starter camera with enough lite the pictures are perfect for the young ones my daughter and her cousins up to age 12 had alot of fun with it. it was also easy to figure out for her.She uses it like a pro and loves all the features on it especially the video,and the fact that u can hook it up to the t.v like a real camcorder and take pix,record and play the games. this cam also holds alot more pictures and video time than stated in their description.
I was set on buying a memory card but i dont even have to...we luv this toy or can u even call it that?!!!

if you are thinking of buying a camera for your child this is definatly the one!

I bought this camera/case for my nephew for his 4th birthday. By the end of the day, he had snapped over 300 pictures (all on internal memory - my brother told me it finally maxed out at about 550). It was so fun to watch him line up the perfect shot and he felt like such a big boy carrying his camera around his neck. It is so fun to look at the pictures and see the world from his perspective. This camera is easy to use and durable and the features, such as photo add-ons, etc. just make the experience that much more enjoyable. His 2 year old brother got his hands on it and he was able to point and shoot too and we didn't have to worry about it breaking. The adults could not believe that this is a real camera that takes real pictures that can be put on the computer and printed. I would recommend this camera.

I bought three of these cameras for my 6, 4. and 3 year old grandkids. The six year old was taking pictures as soon as it came out of the box. He figured out how to get to the games, and video on his own. It is a very child friendly camera. The 4 and 3 year olds have a harder time holding the camera still to take a picture, but the 6 year old has it down pat. Nothing and no one are safe from this pint-size picture-taking fanatic!
The younger two love their cameras, also. They do not care that their pictures are blurry, they are just enjoying being in charge of what they take a picture of. They also enjoy the games, altho they need a bit of help with the menu to get to the games.
Overall, this is a great kids camera. It doesn't have the best resolution on the pics, but the kids love it anyway, and isn't that the important part?

Got this for Nana to give as BD gift. Fun to watch her take pictures and seeing the results are priceless. She takes pictures of anything laying around...her baby doll, a button, can of soda, a flower, etc. and she is so proud of herself for taking the pictures. I would say it is probably over priced since you can get real cameras now pretty cheap but, it is durable. It's been dropped a few times and still working.

Terrific find for my 5 year old. Wanted a camera like her older siblings but I couldn't find one durable and easy enough for her to use. This camera has been hours of creative fun. The older kids even got in on the picture taking with the add on graphics. Love it. Quality of picture is fine for sending in emails and viewing on computer.
Camera case is nice for storing camera and for travel. Software was easy to download on computer for easy viewing. Movie mode is very primitive and low quality but what 5 year old cares? She's thrilled to be in total control.

A friend sent this camera for my daughter who is three. Its a great idea to have a kid friendly camera but I don't understand why the quality has to be so bad. The camera phones I had several years ago have a better image then this one. I am amazed at how long it takes to take a picture too. No matter what the lighting conditions, it would take almost 20-30 seconds before it would shoot. And when you would get near a bright window, it would wash out like it shouldn't be taken outdoors! Its a strange thing to charge so much money for something that doesn't work.

My sister actually gave my daughter a camera too. The first thing my daughter said is, "Wow, another camera!" Its funny but its a Fisher Price camera and it works better. Its still bad quality in the image (what's up with that?!?!) but at least it can actually take the photo quickly... which is what a three year old needs.

Would I buy something like this myself for a child? No, I'd rather give (even my three year old) a cheap digi camera and try to tell them the importance of taking care of things. At least then I might get some decent quality photos as seen from my little budding photographer!

this cost me more than $25 for shipping and handling alone, and i thought it was worth it. i was excited for my daughter to receive it, but was very disappointed when i found out it has a very very very poor quality of shots. even more, when you view the screen, it has like 5-7 second intervals of time frame. it gave me headaches. my niece has a $19.99 digital camera from disney, and you wouldn't know that it's a kid camera from the pictures.

If you are searching for a durable, easy to use, fun, perfectly designed camera for your child....Look no further...THIS IS IT. Highly recommended over the others out there. I am a mother who read these reviews with skepticism, decided to try it and I could not be happier!
The case is great! For such a small difference in the price to get just the camera or the camera and the case...we decided to get the package deal. To have a great camera with a case that holds it perfectly in size with durable straps...can't go wrong...! I relied on these reviews before purchasing and felt obligated to express my satisfaction. Well worth it over the others!!
