It's one of those toys that you discover something new on it the next time you bring it out to play, so I think it will keep the kids entertained for a long time.

She presses the buttons and laughs and dances when the songs play.

the 9 month old g-son came over today so me and the mrs broke it out. batteries are included with this product---yeaaaaaaaaaaa. let the boy play with it. now a 9 month old has a attention span of a nat. but this toy captivated him and he sat and pushed the lighted buttons twirled the number drums. then wanted it open and it is like a little lunch box area to hold toys of the smaller nature. he sat for a good 10 minutes playing with it. during the day he went back and forth to the toy and each time it captivated him for at least 5 minutes at a time. kids like toys with a handle. this has a handle and little roller wheels so that the older children can drag(roll) it across the floor with ease. batteries are easy to get to with one single flush screw. the latch though easy to open does very well to secure the toy closed. it seems to be well made and sturdy for those kids that a little ruff on toys. this would be a good 1st toy to get a kid that is starting to learn motor skills of pushing buttons, spinning little drums, turning a page in a book and matching the hat to the area that it belongs.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
I got this for my 11 month old niece. She is literally the most active baby I have ever been around and she goes crazy for all toys that make noise or light up. I knew this would be a smash hit with her the instant I saw it! She adores this vibrant suitcase/toy. She presses the buttons and laughs and dances when the songs play. I personally think some of the songs are a little oddly written and bland but she doesn't seem to care.

There is a nice level of educational value with this toy as well. It helps teach baby counting and also teaches them to find things. "Can you find the plane?" is one little example. The phone is a big hit with her as well since she likes to grab phones from whoever is holding her to say "HI!" to everyone. We tell her to grab the cute little phone and say HI and she goes. It's very sweet. The colors are very bright and cheerful for toddlers/babies and the knobs and buttons are abundant for various functions that will keep even the most tireless child entertained. We also love that this opens up as a suitcase that we can hide other toys in and play "Where did the toy go?" with her. She loves it. She has yet to walk so the pulling/toting of this hasn't happened but I'm sure that's coming up soon. Overall, we love this toy and think it's a great deal for any parents of one year old children. If your baby likes lights and buttons he/she will go crazy over this! :)

An interactive toy that will keep your toddler busy having fun while learning. Sing along and learn words in a new language. Make travel arrangements on the phone, pack up the suitcase with favorite toys and they're ready to go. Great value for the price. Recommended age is 12-36 months but this much to do activity suitcase will even keep the attention of a 3 yr old. See my full review at [...]

We let our 16 month old grandchild have a go with this for the first time this weekend, and she was totally captivated by it. There are so many different choices to engage a young child and to hone their fine motor skills. The tiny phone and music turned out to be favorites, but there is just so much to keep children engaged.

We were happy to see batteries included and a volume control switch were included. The fact that it all packs away and can be wheeled away by the child are added bonuses. A great product.

Its intended audience, my one year old son, is infatuated with this toy and would give it 5 stars, which is what's important. I give it three based on two factors:

1) After a week of listening to it, I'm convinced that VTech designed and manufactured a musical toy without hiring a single staff member familiar with the basic structures of human song. It seems, based on the tuneless, unresolved, mess of sound that pours from this thing, that they don't listen to music in the VTech offices, and actively screen out employees who have an interest in music. My prediction is that this toy will educate my child away from an interest in music, or perhaps will lead him in the direction of experimental music.

2) The packaging around this suitcase is comparable to the measures taken to prevent access to the Nakatomi Plaza vault. I've assembled entire rooms of Ikea furniture with less effort than it took to simply remove this toy from the box. My favorite element of its packaging is a set of thick zip ties pulled to maximum tautness around the clasp of the suitcase. What they feared from a couple millimeters of movement in that piece is a mystery to me, but I challenge a VTech engineer to show how you cut perfectly taut zip ties without scratching the toy they so carefully protected from damage en route.

The kid loves it, though.

Aubrey just turned one in July and loves the VTech Roll & Learn Activity Suitcase. She put her boots and stuff in it without even being told to. Like she was packing to go somewhere. Has many different sounds and lights to keep their imagination. I highly recommend it and would make a great Christmas or birthday gift.

This is another one of those toys where the girl-colored version costs more (almost twice as much) than the gender neutral version. Gave it to our daughter a few days ago, when she turned 18 months old. She got into it pretty quickly and it sustained her interest over the next few days, although she did get upset a few times at first, because of how the suitcase keeps toppling over and giving her a fright. My husband thought it was a nice touch to add a little Spanish to the repertoire.

It's an engaging toy with enough activities (she loves opening and closing the suitcase, and putting stuff in and taking them out), songs, and phrases to keep a little one occupied.

My only gripe is that many of the picture parts are actually stickers, including where the blue shirt, red hat, green sock, and phone pieces go, as well as the rollers. So, if you like to wipe down your kids' toys with a damp cloth or wet wipe, or in my case, my daughter accidentally spilled a little drink on the blue shirt area on the 2nd day, be prepared for the stickers to start peeling off and looking old real fast.

I did write to VTech to ask about the possibility of getting replacement stickers, and received a brief reply that simply said, they do not provide them.
