Attila the Ankylosaurus

Yo! I'm Attila and no one tells me what to do. I'm as tough as my armor, and I never back down from a fight. I may move slowly, but I'm built like a tank and my swinging tail can crush whatever gets in my way.

Watch out or he'll knock you out!

A member of the VTech Switch & Go Dinos crew, Attila is a 2-in-1 toy that easily transforms from a hefty construction vehicle to an Ankylosaurus and back again in just a few simple steps.

In vehicle mode, use the included tow hook and heavy duty dump trailer to haul your construction equipment or other Switch & Go Dinos (not included). Or in dino mode, use the included wrecking ball on the end of Attila's tail to hit whatever gets in his way.

For added excitement, this fierce dino has a dynamic LCD screen that comes to life with the push of a button and features a cool driver and dino eyes animations. Simply push one of the buttons to customize your driver or dino eyes or push the other buttons to trigger realistic sound effects and phrases that teach interesting dino facts.

My boys and I were really excited to check out the new Attila the Ankylosaurus 2-in-1 Toys from the Dinos Switch & Go Toy Line. I have 3 boys (ages 4 to 8) and they all loved it! The Dino was easy to put together (my 4 year old could figure it out) and seems to be very durable (hopefully lasting many sessions of play). 58

The boys love that they could build it into a Dinosaur and then change it to a vehicle. Not to mention the fact that Attila had a tow hook and heavy duty dump trailer when it was transformed into a construction vehicle. When Attila was in Dinosaur mode, he had a wrecking ball on the end of his tail that would hit whatever superhero or car was in its way. They liked the 70 different wild sounds and phrases that Attila played. Plus, they loved the cool driver ad dino eyes that showed up on the LCD screen when they pushed the button.

As a parent, I like that the Dino was both entertaining and educational. They used their hands and mind to transform Attila from a Dino into a vehicle, and vice versa. Plus, Attila would not only play fun phrases, but also dino facts. This is definitely a toy that boys and girls will have hours of fun playing with!

Cars and dinosaurs are my sons' favorite things. So when I learned about Switch & Go Dinos. I knew we had to get them. My two year old and three year old love the Attila dino and can play with it for hours. I couldn't believe how many features it has. I have seen the commercials for the dinos, but it doesn't do them justice.

The instructions are easy to follow regarding how to switch the vehicle to a dino and vise versa. The steps are clear and after showing my three year old how to do it, he caught right on and can do it himself now. He loves just switching it back and forth. It grows confidence in him and he jumps around saying "I did it".

The Attila is heavy duty and I know my boys will test it's durability (they aren't really gentle with their toys). I really love all the different sound effects and sayings it has. Normally with new toys, it takes about ten minutes to memorize its sayings and I get annoyed hearing the same thing over and over again. Not with the dino. I still notice something new every time they are playing with it. The sounds effects are also very realistic.

This is definitely one of my sons' favorite toys and I can see the dinos being in our household for a very long time.

Other than the fact that these are dinosaurs, which are my son's latest obsessions, what's so cool about these is that all of the Switch & Go Dinos transform between a dinosaur and a vehicle in a few simple steps. And when I say simple, it's simple enough for my five year old to do. Dinos and cars? What more could a little boy want?!

Each Switch & Go Dino has an LCD screen for customizable animations (their eyes and faces change). And when they are transformed into dinosaurs, the kids can press action buttons and hear cool facts about each dinosaur...so they are learning while they are playing.

Attila the Ankylosaurus makes over 70 sounds, and is much smaller than Brok. Attila transforms from a construction-like vehicle to an Ankylosaurus. As a vehicle, you can use the tow hook and heavy duty dump trailer to haul your construction equipment or even other Switch & Go Dinos (they aren't included). As a dino but the wrecking ball on the end of Attila's tail to hit whatever gets in his way.

My son loves it both and has been playing with it every day for a couple of weeks now...that says a lot about how much he likes it because the only other thing that keeps his attention like that is the iPad! He really likes switching it back and forth. I will be buying more of these for him...I know he'd like the whole set. He also likes all the fun facts and sounds that the dinos make. And if he's playing and learning? That makes me a happy mama.

My two year old and five year old have been playing with the Attila the Ankylosaurus for a few weeks now and so far it's been a huge hit. I can easily say that it is very durable since it takes a beating from two little boys that usually end up fighting over it. It gets tugged around and pulled around and so far so good! Being a mom, I love that I am able to control the volume so that it isn't always really loud and the kids love that they can change the "driver" on it. This is just an all around super neat toy. It's very easy to transform to a dinosaur (my kind of transforming). My five year old and believe it or not, my two year old can change it with ease. I do see us adding the other Vtech Switch & Go Dinos this holiday season!

I also want to note that although it does come with batteries in it, I would suggest picking up extra just in case. My five year old is awesome about turning it off when he is done, but my two year old doesn't believe in turning anything off. So far we are still running on the batteries that came in it, but I can tell they are getting weak.

I have received VTech Switch & Go Dinos to facilitate my review and for sharing my honest opinion.
