This is what my 6 year old daughter wanted for Christmas from Santa. She was delighted. She often takes this with her in the car and tells her brothers to be quiet, she has to work! So far she had just enjoyed this item, I'll have to give an update on durability and educational value. It seems to have great teaching potential but the bottom line is if the child doesn't utilize it in that capacity, it's not really a great educational tool.

Nice variety of games for kids to choose from. The laptop is durable and has a cool "mouse" burger attached, making it seem realistic for how you control a computer laptop. The only 2 things you may not like: 1)The screen is black and white (or gray) and not backlit. Kids nowadays are used to backlit cell phones and ipads. Still my son is 8-years-old and loved it. He played with it for quite a few hours. 2)The funniest part about the laptop is that the letter "S" sounds like Spongebob is saying "ass". It's pretty funny! But if you don't want your kids learning this word, you should definitely NOT buy this laptop. It's not only an incorrect way to pronounce the letter - but cannot be mistaken. You will DEFINITELY believe it's saying the word "ass". Check it out on YouTube to hear it for yourself:[...]
