VW beetle custom handbook
I Own a copy of this book and have read it Cover to Cover many times, It is not so much a technical book, but more set around Showing you what can be done and what has been done with the VW beetle, If you are starting out a resto Project This is definitly the book for you.

This is a must have for the VW fan. I was at a car show in Effingham, Il. where Keith Seume was signing books I didnt get a chance to meet him but did order two books from Amazon, The VW Beetle "The New Custom Handbook" and the "VW Performance Handbook". Both these books have a wealth of information and he loves VW!!! He has given me some great information for my current projects and some redo ideas for my Cal-look 71. Both of these books have great pictures as well!

Once again, Keith Seume has written a must-have book for every VW air-cooled enthusiast. Keith is recognized as one of the world's leading VW authorities, which becomes obvious to readers of this book. This book is available at a great price from Amazon, and is bristling full with great and sometimes quite unique ideas for tastefully customizing your air-cooled VW. It's very well written, and full of high-quality pictures. Highly recommended!

This book will definitley get the creative juices flowing when you are trying to decide how you want your beetle restoration to turn out. It covers all the popular "looks", from the ageless Cal-look to the modern german look, as well as buggies, bajas and replicas.A definite must have for a beetle fan.

Mostly pretty pictures of bugs but it gave me some great ideas on what I can do to mine. There is very limited information on how to actually customize anything but there is a lot of information about what can be done. For example: It gives you all the information on which bumpers look great with each style of VW but it will not tell you what you would need to do to install one.
