This review is from: LG VX-9100 Phone Charging USB 2.0 Data Cable! This professional grade custom cable outperforms the original! (Electronics)
A nice tool to charge many new Verizon phones - the enV2 in particular - from any USB port. Also it can be used to download data, songs, video, and pictures to your phone. Far less expensive than directly from Verizon. this should come stand with any phone you purchase, but alas, it does not.

This cable and bitpim (free software tool) is all you need to charge and maintain your mobile phone. As the other reviewers said, a USB cable should come with every mobile phone, but then Verizon couldn't sell you one for 10 times as much. Very handy for the workplace as a USB is always close by. Don't ponder it, just buy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars perfect tool, February 16, 2009

I agree with the other reviewer that this cable (or a similar) should be standard with the phone. I have the env2 and use this cable (and bitpim software) to sync my phonebook, calendar, photos and ringtones from my laptop. Incredibly easy to use and worth it, considering Verizon charges $2.99 per ringtone.
