This is the second cell-phone data cable I have purchased from these folks and I have been completely satisfied with both purchases. Of course to use these you need enough knowledge to find where you can download the additional software to use the cables; I have done so am can now happily save data from the phone and load ringtones that I have created without having to pay more to the cell phone service provider...

The product is a great deal. If I remember correctly, Verizon wanted $30 for the same cable! The software installation was a bit tricky. Once this is properly configured, the product works as advertised.

The CD that ships with this product does not have the USB drivers for the 8300. I had to hunt them down on the internet. Once I found them, this product worked with 8300 and BITPIM. They should have put the proper drivers on the CD.

I was somewhat skeptical of the product, giving others sell these for much more, but was delightfully pleased after I received them. The cables work just fine. I use them for transferring my contact list on my cell phone to my computer.

Just bought the USB phone cable for my LGVX8300 and it works great! It also came with a CD that has ringtones, wallpaper and info where you can download drivers. I choose BitPim for the software to download for my phone. The cable went in without a problem and all my stuff that was on the phone transfered in seconds.
If you buy this cable from Verizon they will charge you,$30.00 for cable and software.

Received wrong item. E-mailed them but they were out of stock of the item that I needed. They refunded all money they received Easy to deal with. I will do business again.

Good
- Item was received quickly (2 days) without problems and worked as expected.
- I can transfer some items between telephone and computer


Bad
- process is slow. I think I am just going to get a micro SD card so I can transfer pictures easily and not worry about other possible items I might be able to do.

The phone plug has to be inserted just so into the phone (I have the LG VX8300). Not the best fit and at first though it was the wrong cable. But once you figure out how to manipulate it, it works just fine. I have down loaded music from my computer to the phone's expansion memory card easily. At the price it is beyond perfect.

I was very satisfied with this product and especially the low price. It did everything I needed it to do and would recommend this product to customers.

The cable fits great but I couldnt get it to work with win98 2nd edition.
