This review is from: VXI BlueParrott Roadwarrior B250-XT Bluetooth Wireless Headset for Cell Phones/Computers with AC and Auto Chargers (Personal Computers)
Recently bought a Blueparrott 250XT and was worried about the battery, as others have had problems with that. I charged mine up the full time (and more) as they say in the instructions. I initially had problems, but they were my fault. I didnt read the instructions completely and when the light flashed red, I thought it was a battery problem. As it turns out, it indicated that it had disconnected from my cellphone's bluetooth system. I reconnected and it worked really well. My cell has disconnected a few times, but lately, it works well, I'm at a loss when I dont have it on. The noise cancelling works really well. The amplication on the earphone is great and compensates for my age-related hearing loss. A really great unit, feels good wearing it, not sure I'd wear it in the food store, but is it any worse than any of the earpiece units you see being used now? If I lost it would I buy another one? Yes...100% yes.

This is the best product. It totally blocks out any background noise. My husband drives a semi and when I talk to him I cannot here the noise of the semi. It is wonderful.

One of those great ideas that works for certain situations (i.e. Smaller head, different phone?) With my iphone 4, this headset fades in and out and is about 1/2 as loud as my Plantronics 925 on the outgoing volume. The fading is very noticeable on for the listener and verified by apple iphone tech support. Her comment was that I sounded great on the phone and on the 925. I had called BP tech support and he did say they having some issues with the iphone 4 so there was nothing he could do about it. He was a bit condescending and tried to tell me it was because of the type of bluetooth in the iphone. I checked it and sure looks to me to be the identical 2.1 version. As it is now, I have people asking me if I am there (can't hear me), say my voice fluctuates in volume, is of poor quality. The incoming volume is so loud I had to turn down to almost minimum. That is fine with me, however, the phones volume controls do nothing to adjust ether volume. The incoming has to be done on the headset and the outgoing sound is not adjustable in the headset or the phone. The voice command works great as do the redial although none of the button functions are similar to my other headsets, it is just a learning curve thing and some dropped calls to get it down. The battery seems excellent and I have not run it out yet. 15 hours may be possible! Seems to charge fast as well. The fit is not that great for my 7-5/8 hat size. I cannot get the mike in front of my mouth and the over the head strap will not extend as far as I would like it to. Remember that the mike is directional and if you take the foam off you can see one side has "talk" moulded into it and that is the side to have facing your mouth. It is a little louder with the foam off. This is a large, heavy headset. Be forewarned. I am used to over the head style so it is not as much of an issue for me as it might be for someone coming from an "in you ear" style. Also, in the heat, my ear sweats under the cushion. I leave it off my head above 80F. In short, I would call the manufacture and check for phone compatibility first, then make sure you buy through a company with a liberal return policy such as Amazon proper so you don't get stuck with a headset that not satisfy the basic needs of a bluetooth headset. If you have an iphone 4, I would look elsewhere for a BT solution that actually works. To the BlueParrot, please make the boom and headband longer and list phone compatibility in an obvious place on the website.

This has the best noise cancellation features of any other bluetooth headset I have ever tried. This headset is a little cumbersome if you are going to be out and about with it, but the noise cancellation is awesome. I was outside in the wind beside a running tractor engine talking to the John Deere mechanic with the blue parrot headset and he said that he couldnt even register that the tractor was running. By far the best noise cancellation you can find.

I'm a truck driver and anybody that I talk to says I sound like I'm in a quiet room. I bought one for my wife and she won't use anything else......(she hates the jawbone...both models). I would say it's the best sounding with voice and hearing bluetooth wireless unit out there.

There is no better headset for range and sound quality. Unfortunately it has a habit of locking up under a variety of situations. The most common is if you walk in and out of range with your phone a few times it'll usually lock up and the only way to bring it back is to plug it into the charger for ~10 seconds. This is fine if I'm in my car or office where a charger resides but if you don't have the charger nearby you're out of luck. On a couple desperate occasions I was forced to unscrew the battery compartment and actually unplug and re-plug the battery to get it working. I contacted the manufacturer and though their tech support was completely aware of the issue they had no solution. This has been going on since they released the preceding model the B250 a few years ago but back then it was much easier to resolve. At that time a paper clip inserted into the charging jack would reset the headset. Since they moved to a lipo battery and more complicated charging circuitry the paper clip trick no longer works. Until now our support group has been using Blueparrots exclusively. I can't imagine that we'll put up with this issue for long and we'll be looking at other brands.

THis product is the best ever headset. I spend hours on the phone as I work with animals and need to have my hands free. I can hear my clients well and they can hear me. I wear it everywhere and people look at me funny but who cares I can time is money and when I can hear my clients it makes it better. The battery life is so good who else give you 10 hours of talk time...

It's a perfect product! I've used the Blueparrott B250-XT Bluetooth in the nosiest computer rooms for the last 3 weeks. Don't know how I did my job without one all these years. I am in Field Service and have to talk to support and customers constantly while standing in the nosiest computer rooms you could imagine. I can talk in normal conversational tone and everyone on the other end can hear me. I can hear them as well.

Although this headset is bigger than most the ability to hear clearly on my end and cancel the background noise when I'm speaking is exceptional. I recommend this to anyone and I highly recommend this product for those who are hard of hearing or have vehicles that generate a lot of road noise.

My boyfriend is a truck driver and it was very hard to hear him when he was in the truck. Now I have to ask him if he is sure he is at work. It sounds like he is home in the living room not in a truck on a bluetooth. I was so impressed; I got me a blueparrott too. My Toyota sounds like a truck. lol - I can even talk while the window is down and no wind noise is heard. Now, only if the blueparrott would keep my hair from getting messes up in the wind...lol Did I mention you get 16 hrs of talk time on one charge...If you work on the road - you gotta get one of these for real!! Worth every penny!
