After many different headsets throughout the years I can say with out hesitation that the Blue Parrot head set is the one for the person who wants to be heard clearly and hear all that is said. After 17 years over the road driving and nearly as many in the military my hearing is not what it once was. This headset by far out performs all others I have tried over the years! If I am going to praise the clearity of this headset I must also be honest with you. The one and only fault I have is that with being one the road all the time the charging base does not quite hold the headset well while in motion. While sitting still no problem. I will be order another for my wife soon!

This is the best blue tooth, or even any wired headset I have ever used.
It has excellent volume and I run It about mediam or it will blast your ears even in my Semi. People on the other end can not tell when I put the window down at 65 MPH. It looked a little heavy, but was not at all. My LG has a Very easy time with voice commands compared to other headsets I have used. With a two year warranty you can not go wrong with this deal!

My husband is a truck driver with some hearing loss. We had tried several different hands free blue tooth products however none of them worked for him or me. It would either pickup all the back ground noise making it hard for me to hear him or the highest volume level was not loud enough for him. This product solved all those problems. I can hear him clearly and he can't use the max volume it is too loud. We couldn't be happier. The headset looks as though it is heavy and would be uncomfortable but he loves it. Many of the drivers he knows are now in the market for one of thier own. They are alittle hard to come by for less than 100.00 and in stock but they can be found. The only small drawback is you will need to have a car charger for your cell. The headset will drain your cell phone batteries but the headset holds a charge wonderfully. My husband uses his phone a lot while driving. He just keeps his cell plugged into the charger while he is in the truck.

PRODUCT EXPERIENCE:

1. Voice quality and noise cancellation - either in the office or on the road - is FANTASTIC. By the way, I live in rural Alaska where the roads are neither very good, nor quiet, and this headset performs better than any other I've found to date for voice quality and noise cancellation.

2. Ear piece sound quality is less than ideal. With the volume turned all the way up, it's still not quite loud enough when I'm driving (though fine for the office). At max volume, the earphone's audio quality becomes a bit distorted.

3. Battery life (both standby and talk time) is outstanding.

4. Connectivity with my cell phones is a breeze - exactly as described in the user manual.

5. Connectivity with my computer - via BT dongle - hasn't worked yet. Most likely my error.

6. I'm a little guy (I'm only five - five), and have neither a big head nor lots of hair, so I'm confused as to why the headset is not quite big enough. It simply doesn't comfortably fit all the way over my head. Were the headset bit larger, it would be perfectly comfortable and its weight is hardly noticeable.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
I've been searching for a BT headset with great voice quality for a long time. I've gone through several Motorola BT headsets with appalling to mediocre performance, and currently have several Plantronics (including the 510 and 910 BT headsets) and many wired headsets as well.

I work in banking and am some what of a road warrior (the state of Alaska is my territory) with offices at home and the bank. While at home, I prefer to either Skype or use my Blackberry for client calls. While on the road, it's either the Blackberry or a little Nokia with great reception (for personal calls). The Blue Parrot connects and transitions between them easily.

To date, the Blue Parrot (VXI B150) has the best voice quality and noise cancellation, according to feedback received from people I talk to with it. Earpiece volume and clarity come in 2nd place to the Plantronics BT 510.

When voice quality is the deciding factor, the Blue Parrot is the winner every time.

When comfort and sound quality are the deciding factors, I prefer the Plantronics 510.

After trying 3 different Bluetooth headsets, this one actually fits the mark. The VXI CORPORATION B150 Bluetooth Headset and Charger work as advertised. Additionally, it is very comfortable like my Aviation Headset and easy to use, and doesn't look like an ugly piece of jewlery handing out of my ear. The B150 actually needs to be turned down in light traffic because the ear piece is so effective. Everyone I've spoken to using the B150 thinks that I'm on a regular land-line rather than my cell phone.
It is so comfortable and effective, I some times forget and walk away from my phone. Great product that I highly recommend.

I tried 4 different types of BT headsets, and this is the best. Because of the need for batteries, they have to be heavier than wired ones. Therefore the over the head design is far more comfortable, and functional too.

The buttons seem to respond slowly.

Sound is a little digital sounding, but better than most I tried. State of the art is not very good in this area.

Any time it gets away from the phone it has to be reassociated, which is a pain. I suspect this is a falut of the phone, not the headset. It does cause me to go back to my wired headset a lot though because you can't realistically turn it on with short notice.

I bought this headset April 2007. I drive a truck for a living and listening to a bluetooth in a loud truck is very hard to do. Another problem with bluetooths in a truck is that whoever you are talking to has a hard time hearing you. This headset provides a solution for both these problems. I have never had something this good for a bluetooth in a long long time. I would recomend this very much.

I,M A TRUCK DRIVER AND THIS HEADSET IS PERFECT FOR USE IN TRUCKS, MY FRIENDS TURNED ME ON TO THIS MODEL. I USED OTHERS THAT SAID THEY WERE NOISE CANCELLING AND THEY DID A NICE JOB IN MY CAR BUT SOON AS I USED THEM IN MY TRUCK NO ONE COULD UNDERSTAND ME. THE BLUE PARROT HAS A NICE QUIET SOUND TO IT, EVERYONE SAYS I SOUND GOOD ALSO WITH THE THE CUP EARPIECE I HAVE TO TURN THE VOLUME DOWN OR IT BLOWS ME OUT SO YOU HEAR VERY WELL WITH IT. THE ONLY THING I HAVE EVER HEARD CLOSE TO THIS WAS THE PLANTRONICS 510 BUT THE EARPIECE WAS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THIS

Being a truck driver, I am exposed to louder than normal noises while carrying out my normal duties during any given day. I have tried many other bluetooth headsets none of them have worked as advertised. That is not until I got my VXI B150! This product has ocmpletely eliminated my need to hold my phone while driving or moving around the truck. It has exceeded it's specs as far as its talk and standby times. Sound quailty is tops! People that I talk to cannot tell if I'm on the headset or am holding my phone to my ear. I am completely satisfied with this product and recommend it to anyone who is around higher noise levels.

I have always had trouble with both hearing and being heard on Bluetooth headsets. I tried the B150 as a last resort and all of my troubles are gone. I can hear it beautfully and those on the other end tell me that it is clearer then talking directly through my phone. I would highly recommend it. The only drawback is that it is somewhat bulky and not a sleek pocket sized unit, but it works!!!!!
