Extremely useful,
This review is from: Vacuum Ultraviolet Spectroscopy (Paperback)
This consolidation of Volumes 31 and 32 from the "Experimental Methods.." series is the definitive book for anyone delving into the experimental methods and equipment of spectroscopy. It covers everything from optics and ray tracing to data acquisition techniques and lithography, with each contribution written by experts in their respective fields.A must-have for graduate students and beginners trying to get their bearings, and also a great reference book for those who have their bearings (and their Ph.D.).

Essential Reference for anyone working in Vacuum Ultraviolet,
By Phil K (Washington D.C. metro area) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Vacuum Ultraviolet Spectroscopy (Paperback)
This book is good at presenting very useful and detailed information on a wide variety of topics that are inherent to optics in the vacuum ultraviolet and not just in the spectroscopy aspect. Most sections include enough details in the form of graphs, equations, and diagrams to gain a good level of understanding as to the background and operation of a particular concept. A good list of references is included in each section for those who want to further explore a topic of interest.
