SO... I was introduced to Barrage through the symphony orchestra I'm in. The production came to our local theater and played and it just blew my mind. They were so eclectic and...just, wow....I'm still reeling. This CD is ranking right up there with all my other classical favorites!

Barrage is a fantastic and highly energetic group which explores a diverse selection of music. Highlights of this CD include several songs not originally intended for strings which have been wonderfully and skillfully adapted. With two amateur violinists in the family, we listen to a lot of violin music. Barrage and Bowfire are two of the best!

I had this CD years ago and lost it, when I saw it on Amazon I grabbed it. This music is performed with such passion and I love the instruments.

This CD has some great music, not all is fiddle stuff. My favorites are "Karen's Air" and "Running Horses." I was afraid this CD wouldn't be as good as Barrage's first, but it is!

Almost as good as their first album.,

I really liked their first album better, but this one has merit. There are some innovative and new sounds they have created with this one, though many of the tunes are arrangements of old familiar peices. Still, it is worth the purchase.
