This review is from: A Valentine Bouquet (Regency Holiday Romance) (Paperback)
In the first story, Cupid's Legacy, I appreciated the strong female characters who stepped outside what was considered the "norm" for women in this time period. I also liked the way the plot came around full circle to its resolution. In the second story, The Valentine Victorious, I appreciated how the attraction between the protagonists was focused on inner beauty; the earl was attracted to the intelligent, hardworking and fun-loving sister over the more beautiful one. I also like the theme of saving/adopting orphaned animals and children. The last story, The Valentine's Day Husband, was of special interest to me, as it centered around the herbal remedy practice of the female protagonist and her father. The message, that one shouldn't be judged based on heresay because things aren't always what they seem, is a good one!
