According to Paige Bister, my seven-year-old active reader pal, Geronimo started Valentine's Day in New Mouse City looking in the mail, hoping that his family and friends had sent their response to their party invitation.

But, no one sent it.

From that disappointment, Geronimo suffered many other disappointments throughout the day. It was almost as though whatever happened to him was because he gave up on the day.

To Geronimo. The day was a big disaster.

At the point in which he really was going to give up, surprise! Everyone was there.

His day went from disaster to one full of joy and love.

The valentines day disaster is a very beautiful story ilove it.I want to make a valentines party like Geronimo stilton.I wish that some day a man or a woman will help me with my problems.I love it,it is all about valentines day that Geronimo had a disaster in his office,house and newspapers. Gerry had been hopeless good thing Cheesy Lou came in Valentines day and helped Gerry with his problem. I think Geronimo have his true valentine...... It's so amazing.... I wish that I would be like him someday. I wish that my valentines is happy at the beggining until the end. I so much love this book....

My daughter loves these books. She reads them at night to help her fall asleep. She actually goes to bed without asking.
