Cute little gift.
This is a small book, but it has cute pictures that are simple enough for a preschooler to color easily. The pages are vellum.

Not quite for children
I bought this book for my 7 year old niece, based on the picture on the cover. I hoped for cute pictures of animals, but several of them are too sophisticated for a child. There are several cherub/cupids, and unfortunately none of them are clothed. Yes, they're draped, but on one of them you can still his bare bottom. I bought this book for my 7 year old niece, based on the picture on the cover. I hoped for cute pictures of animals, but several of them are too sophisticated for a child. There are several cherub/cupids, and unfortunately none of them are clothed. Yes, they're draped, but on one of them you can still his bare bottom. It's nothing you wouldn't see in fine art, and it would be fine for a teenager or adult, but I wasn't comfortable giving it to a child. I ended up cutting out the cherub pages and had about half the book left.
