I bought a 19" Valeo wiper and a 24" Valeo wiper as replacements on my 1999 Honda accord sedan.

By and large, these blades work very well. I did have a few problems, though.

Installation was easy, but the plastic flap on the 19" blade could not be closed (the wiper holder hook is too thick). The flap on the 24" blade snapped closed without trouble.

The 19" blade is not flush with my windshield along its entire length in its resting position; the last one inch or so is off the windshield. This does not seem to cause any trouble with its wiping action, though; it becomes flush as it moves across the windshield.

These wipers have "spoilers" at their ends. These are slightly protruding plastic guards at the ends of the wipers (you can see them in the pictures). These tend to leave a semi-circular streak along their path on the windshield.

While driving on a highway in heavy rain, both the wipers seemed to perform well most of the time. As advertised, they do not leave gaps between their blades and the windshield, have low profiles, and efficiently move large amounts of water out of the way.

The problem I had was that the blades were prone to skipping if I slowed to below 55 mph. By skipping, I mean that they rapidly skitter over the windshield instead of passing over it smoothly. They intermittently lose contact with the windshield when they do this, leaving a Japanese fan-like pattern of water streaks. The skipping also makes a loud noise that can get tiresome over long periods.

However, the skipping problem disappeared when I drove at speeds over 60 mph. So the skipping problem may also be related to the force with which my wiper holders press the wipers to the windshield. Also, this happened soon after I bought them -- it may change after they are broken in. I haven't had a chance to evaluate that yet.

Most of the problems are minor annoyances. The wipers perform very well compared to other wipers on dry and semi-dry windshields. Without the minor annoyances, they would be excellent wipers.

I bought a set of these windshield wipers for my wifes car because every other wiper I had ever purchased for her car (including the full silicon bosch ones which actually cost a few dollars more than these) would chatter across the windshield. I had seen these wipers on HGTV's "I Want That!" show and decided to give them a try. The specific review information in regards to function, etc... is below:

* Installation: simple and easy (of course this is pretty standard for all new wipers)
* Noise: near zero, these are the quietest wipers I have ever had on a vehicle
* Function in light rain: perfect, even with just a little bit of water on the window these work perfectly, unlike most wipers
* Function in heavy rain: perfect, these wipers remove the water perfectly with no streaks and work flawlessly even in a torrential downpour (I live in Washington state by the way)
* Function with frost: extremely well, these actually remove most of the frost off the window whereas most wipers will just slide over it
* Function in snow: perfect, these wipers remove snow from your window as easily and cleanly as they remove water
* Resilience to different seasons: Absolutely amazing, even in California heat for three months and then back into Washington in the rainy season, they still work just as perfect as when they were first put on the car

Overall, these windshield wipers are the best you can put on your car. They function flawlessly, they look great, they won't fail you. I have already recommended these to all of my friends and they have switched over to them with the exact same results. If you are going to buy one set of wipers for your car, buy these.

These are the best ever. They do not lose contact at 80. The wipe is clear and dry. Do not hesitate because of the price. These wipers are worth the money.
