Esta es la historia de un hombre que desde su infancia fue creando una identidad diferente a medida que el destino se cruzaba y cambiaba sus caminos. De niño docil a adolescente curioso, de joven anarquista a adulto presidiario, de tendero soñador a contador de lupanar y de ahi a estafador y vendedor de falsificacion de obras de arte. En cada faceta de evolucion cambian tambien de nombre asi es que el niño Bollino termina siendo el Marques de Valfierno que despues de estafar a cientos de incautos organiza el robo, falsificación y multiples ventas de la Mona Lisa robada del Louvre de Paris. Todo esto contado en su vejez a un periodista para que su historia no muriera con el.
Una novela mas narrada que dialogada que mantiene al lector atento debido al estilo usado por el escritor una mezcla de retrospectiva desorganizada y comentarios de entrevistados que nos permite ir enterandonos de la vida y obra de Valfierno con saltos de tiempos algunas veces imprecisos. Buena técnica y buena historia.
