If you love Vali then you'll be prepared to put up with the poor quality of this video, the poor sound and the shaky hand held camera style would have been very inovative in its day. A documentary style view into her life, its not always clear just what we're looking at and much of the original quality has probably been lost in the manufacture of the VHS. I've seen the original and this seems to have had chunks cut out of it - probably for a "home rental" market. But it gives wonderful glimpses of Vali's lifestyle and as the whereabouts of the original 16mm film is unknown it's probably all we may have left of Sheldon's movie. If the Rochlin's business ever decide to release this again - put me first in line for a new copy.

I would actually like to contact you to know how i may order a PAL standard video of "The witch of Positano" 1965 since i live in Italy,(Rome precisely), and no european amqzon website has this film, nor does it appear if i give all details. Can you please give me information also regarding Vali Myers' biography and paintings, book published in 1980 by open house, if i could possibly buy a second hand copy.
