This review is from: The Valiant Gunman (The House of Winslow #14) (Paperback)
This book has love, excitement, and adventure. Gilbert Morris did a good job writing this western book. It was so good I read it in two days. After reading it will engerage you to read the rest of the Winslow Series which is one of the best series I have read.

Can't put it down!,

This review is from: The Valiant Gunman: 1874 (The House of Winslow #14) (Paperback)
This book follows Dan Winslow, the last son of Sky and Rebekah Winslow. During the Civil War Dan had dreamt of going west and starting his own ranch but the timing never seemed right. Once he earns enough money he gathers his cattle and heads to Wyoming.
Hope Rogers had married to keep her small family together, but it soon all falls apart. Will she be able to keep her ranch together? The cow hands at the Arrow Ranch think they run the area and cause problems for both Hope and Dan. What does the future hold for them? I thoroughly enjoyed this book and could not put it down; I read it in a matter of days. This book certainly knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat and you really feel sympathetic for Hope and flight. |
