Valiant Women of the Vietnam War,

This is a very important book for all young readers studying history. It is a nice overview of the often forgotten women veterans of this war. It contains a good list of recommended further reading, as well as some photos(nothing too graphic, but definitely not giving a false idea of the conditions in Vietnam during the war). After reading this book, I was pleased to discover that some of the women's stories mentioned in this book, for example Maureen Nerli (USO) are also in the book A Piece of My Heart by Keith Walker, which I also recently read. Definitely a good choice for history teachers in elementary schools.
