I would rather spend that 250 bucks on a PSP or the new nintendo Wii. This game is awesome, but not good enough for anybody to throw in $250. That's just totally ridiculous!!

It is a great game with touching storyline related to Norse mythology and a very interesting and unique battle system. It's the first game in PSone era that you could encounter Combos more than 10 thousands Hit Points at the beginning of the game. Something is needed to be aware of, slight mistakes may lead you to incomplete endings. In order to obtain the best ending with optimal items and characters powers, you must need to follow very mathematical ways to transfer items and people into the heaven; while, these mathematical ways may be complicated and hard to follow, they do make a lot of sense when you understand the storyline. A strategy guide is therefore strongly recommended. I'm refering to the PSP version though. The PSone version for $250 is just way too expensive. Getting a PSP = $150 + Valkyrie Profile $39 + Strategy Guide $10 from amazon. you pay $199 TOTAL!!!
