5.0 out of 5 stars The Ultimate Fantasy Calendar
I purchase this calendar every year. Their art work is amazing and from researching, these calendars sometimes increase in value as collectors items.

1.0 out of 5 stars Artwork cut up & made ugly / unusable in previous year, January 8, 2008
I have been getting the calendar regliously for over 10 years. Last year I got one and was both shocked and dismayed that they placed the picture over the fold, so it was partially on the calendar date side. It looked terrible and made it impossible for me to do what I normally do, which is cut out the pictures and frame the nice ones after the year is over. Because of this, I will no longer buy thier calendars. Since they are sealed or only available online, there is no way to tell if they did this again. I'm sorry to see such a great calendar, that always had new, original art (something that can't me said for 95% of other calendars) that I looked forward to every year, destroy the art of the artist. I hope they take my advice and stop cutting the pictures off at the 75% mark. I can say with confidence I will never buy one again unless I can be certain this is not being done again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product, October 24, 2005
This is a beautiful fantasy calendar. It is a gift for my son who receives a Boris Vallejo calendar every year for Christmas and then decorates his room with the large center pictures after the year is over. Have never been disappointed with this product over the years.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Gorgeous!!!, November 24, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is my first Boris-Julie purchase, but it certainly won't be the last. This calendar is beyond beautiful. The women are powerful, sensual, curvy and strong, the men are mythic in strength and physical beauty, and the background and creatures are out of this world. Amazing colours and breath-taking details. This calendar is a must for the fantasy lover or simply anyone who adores the human form. My only suggestion would be to include the full and new moon dates on the calendar, but otherwise this is perfect. I will definitely order one for my next year's calendar as well. Keep up the masterful work, Boris and Julie! Mazel tov!

3.0 out of 5 stars Repeat pictures..., January 18, 2007

I love Boris Vallejo's work. I have been getting his calendars for about 10 years now; however this one I am so disappointed in. Not because this is not up to standard it is wonderful artwork, it is just that most of these have already been in previous calendars.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Year for Art, December 29, 2002

There are calendars and then there are Calendars. The art works by Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell are exceptional. Each month is set out with it's own mythology story and picture. The centre fold is a full length picture. This calendar is a must to own and definitely worth displaying for all you friends and family to admire; so make sure it is the focal point in your home.

2.0 out of 5 stars Very Disappointing Calendar, November 19, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I would only recommend this calendar to those who are collectors of Boris' work and are attempting to get as complete a set of calendar years as possible. To those who purchase occasionally because they appreciate his artistry, I advise you to stay away from this year's issue and stick with his books of art. I don't know why, whether Boris is toning down his work (similar to Picasso going through his Blue Period) or whether his publishers are forcing him to become a bit more sexually/politically correct, but this year's calendar is less erotic and exotic than almost any previous year, and I've been collecting since the mid-'80's. Oh, the artwork is still beautifully done in the typical Boris style, but the cutting edge artwork he has been known for, reknown for in fact, is absent. Again, I don't know if this was Boris' choice or forced upon him, but I hope to see the old Boris back again next year.

5.0 out of 5 stars No complaints., June 1, 2009
I bought this for my boyfriend... it shipped from the seller well and on time, it was packaged well and was not damaged at all during shipping. It seems to be a quality fantasy art calendar... if this is something you are into I would consider buying next years from this seller.
