AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME! This group ROCKS! One listen is all it takes to become a hooked on Vallejo fan. I first saw them in Austin (I'm from San Antonio), I drive to Austin every chance I get to see them live. Lately they have finally started playing shows in San Antone! WhoooHOOO! I love my Vallejo Boys! AJ! Alex! Omar! Bruce! Diego! and Heath! You make a Beautiful Life out of Just Another Day! Your devoted fan...Deborah

I first saw Vallejo opening for another band and I thought they should have been the headliner. I haven't missed a show since. I can listen to every song on the CD over and over again. When Beautiful Life came out, I raced to the store to get it. It's just as good as the first. But, the only way to really listen to Vallejo is LIVE! They ROCK!

I'm gonna miss my Vellejo concert days. We recently moved to Tennessee from Houston and followed them everywhere we could. Everyone... BUY THIS CD and all the others as well as request to hear them on the radio. Well worth it and maybe we will get to see them locally in Tennessee when the rest of the country ends up loving them as much as we do. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I first saw Vallejo at Frank's Anchor Club just outside of Killeen, TX in March of 1997 just after the release of this album. The only song that was on the radio at the time was "Just Another Day". It was receiving major local airplay. After the show (seen by approximately 300 people, tops) I immediately went to buy the CD. The recorded versions are great, but nothing compared to the live versions. The set started with "Shining Sun" and got everyone, literally, hopping. It was one big party. "Boogie Man" was all hard rock energy. "Magnolia Tea Room" was syncopated intensity. It was the "Nomad" tour, and Vallejo rocked the stage like travelling kings. The music is hard to fit into one category, it has latin/rap/rock/jazz roots. The blend is nothing short of amazing. It's music for audio adults. Sophisticated and emotional, it appeals to both sides of your brain at the same time. I highly recommend this album as well as their follow ups "Beautiful Life" and "Into the New". Their self-financed first release "Sins" is also a good one, but this one is the best. I don't know why they haven't made it into the nation-wide airplay column, because they should and will. i got to meet these guys at a local concert here in austin. not only is their music wonderful, but they're just as addictive. all i can really say is you gotta hear it to beleive it. their sound is totally unique.

Have seen Vallejo play for several years. When I first saw them (with only five other people in the club) I said " Hey, these guys are pretty good!). They ended up to turn out to be a sold out show every time a few years later! Great buy! Definite try!

I think that these country boys who all have come from different towns in Alabama, really feel the music that thet are playing. The Latin sounds produced by these guys really catches the listeners attention(i.e. changes in temp/or variety of instruments)They have another album on the scene, which is titled "Beautifull Life" which has some hard, grinding chords mixed in with many tempo/melodic changes. The best way to listen to Vallejo is live. They really bring down the house! I have seen them about 1000 times, and every time the show astounds me! If you would like to hear some old Vallejo roots, try to find the tape titled "Vallejo Bros" Raw Sessions, my how far these fellows have come! BWC

Vallejo's selftitled album is nothing short of amazing. The latin influenced rhtyhm sets the base of the rock/funk/metal/hiphop/soul music that you will not be able to get enough of. This band is destined to take over the world...
