"Valley of the Dolls": keep poppin' those pills--they're like popcorn for these big-haired babes. Amazingly, Roger Ebert managed to be taken seriously as a critic after writing the screenplay for "Beyond"--an even more ridiculous romp through the 60s. The Z-Man character was based on Phil Spector. Ebert saw it coming. Visionary genius--plus, with Russ Meyer directing, your eyes never get bored...
