Valley End High is a quick read. It is a SHORT STORY. With that being said, I find it an intense read. Easily finished in a single reading session. The characters don't develop too much over the course of the story, but VEH doesn't disappoint. There's a little trickery and intensity throughout the reading. It prompts the reader to continue reading to find the answers. Very solid for a short story.

Very scary. Enjoyed but but won't re-read it at night. Grateful it ended with a dream. Interesting read. Thinking of sending it to my teacher friends. LOL.

This story jumps right into the action, allows you to experience what the main character is experiencing first hand, and then leaves you with a "cliffhanger." The narrative gives enough details to engage the reader but leaves many questions unanswered. Maybe the questions will be answered in future episodes?
