The flag I received was not in any original packaging as shown in the picture. The flag I received was sold by sevenbrothersmercantile. It arrived crammed into a plain brown envelope. It was neatly folded but it wasn't what I was expecting. I have no way of knowing if it is a Valley Forge brand flag made in the U.S. or not. For all I know it's a Chinese import. One of the reasons I picked this flag was because I was going to give it as a gift, so I was disappointed that it didn't come in the packaging for that reason as well. So, I decided to check out the flag since it's not packaged. It has a variety of loose threads and ends that I had to trim or pluck off the flag. Minor issue; nothing I might not expect for something with so much stitching I suppose. The other issue though was that the white stripes were stained with red from the red stripes. Not sure if this is mfr issue (whoever it is) or if this flag was stored in a high moisture environment that led to the bleeding (at sevenbrothersmercantile). Since this is my first flag, I'm not sure if this is common but I did not expect it and it made me unhappy with the quality. The only good news was that the communiction from the sevenbrothersmercantile was good and shipping was timely. However, I'm left with a a flag that's not worth the hassle of trying to return and is also not something I'm happy with to give to someone as a gift. So, essentially, it is now garbage. I'm very disappointed with the vendor that they shipped something that does not match the picture (or at least I certainly can't verify it) and so much for a couple positive reviews by others -- well, at least in my opinion. Good luck to others finding a flag on Amazon. I'm thinking I should purchase locally even though it will cost more so I can see what I'm getting. Buying flags on the internet seems dicey to me now. I really expected to receive exactly what I saw in the picture as that has been the case with all of my many other Amazon purchases.

Seven Brothers did fulfill the order for an embroidered flag. But the picture shown is that of a Valley Forge brand flag. That is not what was received. It was a flag stuffed in a 4"x6" brown envelope with no packaging. It is obviously a knock off. It is not so much the product I am unhappy with (don't know how long it will last yet...), but the deception involved. Seven Bro.s should just show the product for what it is. Do not buy from Seven Brothers if you expect to get the name brand product that they show in the picture! Following is communication I had with Seven Brothers. Seller doesn't have control over the image of an item they are selling? Stupidest thing I've ever heard. I must also say I am disappointed that almost a year later Amazon has not required this seller to be truthful.

The ad shows a Valley Forge brand flag. I was sent an Oker brand flag, whatever that is.

I was completely pleased with my selection of 2 3X5 hand sewn American Flags, also with sewn on stars. Glad to recommend this flag to anyone.

Shortly after Memorial Day we will be moving into our new home. What better gift for our house than a beautiful, brand-new American flag.

I wanted to buy a flag from the Veterans Administration but they couldn't deliver in time, so I decided to check Amazon. The selection was not easy because, to my surprise, they had a vast variety. Since I already have a serviceable flag-pole, I finally chose this 3'X5' Nylon replacement flag with sewn stripes & embroidered stars. It's well-made, with embroidered stars and sewn stripes, making it a sturdy product that should last for years.

I'm also pleased because nylon is lightweight and will catch the slightest breeze. I can picture it now, waving proudly over our home, announcing to the world that we are proud and grateful to be Americans. IMO, there is nothing more stirring than the American flag blowing in the breeze.

On this Memorial Day, as we remember and honor our service people who have died defending our great country, let us not forget that they died that we may continue to live in freedom.

We will fly this flag proudly on Memorial Day and every holiday throughout the years.

Endnote: Earlier we ordered some patriotic tee-shirts from the VA. They haven't arrived yet, but if they don't arrive in time, there's always the Fourth of July! Besides, we can wear tees year-round.

This flag is very well put together with beautiful colors and heavy material. I fly it proudly from my porch.

Got 2 new flags to replace worn out one. Price was great. Shipped quickly. These US flags are the highest quality, fully sewen ones you can get. Not cheap imports, they cost a little more but worth it. And there's something just not right about flying an imported national symbol.

great american flag, just what I wanted. a very well made, great looking flag. Priced not to break the bank, so you can afford it. No complaints here.

From some of the descriptions of flags available through Amazon, it is hard to know what exactly you're going to get. I wanted a top-quality flag, where each stripe is a different color of fabric stitched to the next and with embroidered stars. That is exactly what this flag is. The stitching seems secure and the colors are very bright.

Valley Forge Nylon Flag- made in the USA Very high quality material and workmanship worth the few extra dollars. My previous on lasted 4 years 24/7.
