works perfectly i was nervous about a 25 foot cables, but the picture quality on my 50 inches samsung, 1080 i is excellent,.. i would recommend it, and buy it again.
UPDATE 08 18 2010: 3-4 MONTHS AGO THE PICTURE ON MY NEW 58 INCHES SAMSUNG PLASMA BECAME VERY DEGRADED, I played with the receiver/TV settings and blamed first my new pioneer vsx 1019 to have HDMI issues, but then I decided to use a 6 feet cheap HDMI 28 AWG to connect the receiver to the TV, and problem was solved since. This HDMI cable stopped working properly after few months,.... I have now to buy a new better quality one, and run it in walls/ceilings again, to get rid of the unpleasant sceen of the cheaper HDMI cable dangling from the side of the TV. My advice to potential buyers: spend a little bit more and get a better quality HDMI cable. Try [...] they have excellent durable quality cables. B/C of my short lived good results, I have decided to downgrade the review to 2 stars and recommend to not buy this cable for anyone looking for a 25 foot HDMI cable.

I was looking for a way to use my HDTV as my second monitor sometimes so that I could watch TV shows on the internet from my computer. I bought this cable (as well as Eforcity HDMI-F to DVI-M Video Adaptor with Gold Contacts) and have been very pleased with the outcome. The cable came quickly and seems to display great image quality. I watch shows from ABC's website in HD on my TV and it looks great. If you're looking for something for a similar use I strongly recommend this product.

this cable would not work with my blu-ray player. It did work fine with my cable box but I had to get a more expensive cable for the blu-ray player.

Let me start out by saying ... I never review products but this certainly deserves it.
When I first bought an HDMI cable for my 50" 2 years ago I did a little research and decided to find a "good value" expensive cable believing the hype. I spent hours upon hours searching and was lucky to find a highly rated $60 + gold plated hyped up cord that worked and I was happy with. I recently decided to hide this cable behind the wall and discovered it was too short so when looking to upgrade from a 15' to 25' I was expecting to spend significantly more money BUT apparently I have grown wiser with age because I found this. I was a little skeptical but with my limited technical background it made sense that a digital signal of 0's and 1's can't get distorted too much (with the exception of cable length). I have no idea why this never crossed my mind previously. According to Wikipedia (not sure if I can post a link) "In one experiment, audiophile listeners could not distinguish between short 30nster cables and ordinary coat hangers". First off I got 2 cables for less than the price of the 1 "good value" cable I hunted for previously; no more clumsily fumbling to unplug and plug the HDMI from dvr to dvd. Second this cable is a much heavier gauge and includes (as seen in the picture) magnet "filters" on each end of the plug to minimize distortion, which the original "good value" cable did not include. Now I am one of those people that hears the non-existent rattles in a new car or sees the imperfections between a 720 and 1080. My wife honestly can't tell the difference, which I still don't understand. So even if you are one of those people who can't tell the difference, go for it. It is after all cheaper. If you are like me I can honestly say the picture quality is clearer and sound is as good if better. FOR LESS $$$. There is no reason not to choose this over the hyped up BS cable that is widely available. I almost feel like I am cheating the manufacturer.

I needed to run an HDMI cable from my satellite box to another room. Although this cable got really good reviews, I was worried about the video quality degradation over such a long distance. To my amazement, the quality looks just as good as my high end cable that cost almost $70. I was really surprised at how thick and well constructed the cable was. The cable is much thicker than standard cables at about 1/4 inch thick. If you need a HDMI cable for a long distance, I would highly recommend this one. I will definitely buy it again if I need another one in the future!

I honestly expected to get a piece of junk cable based on how inexpensive this one was, and considering the price you pay for other HDMI cables this long. I realize there are probably some differences between this and a Monster 25' HDMI cable, but the picture quality seems perfect, so how much better can you get by paying around $160 for the Monster brand? I originally purchased this to run a TV hooked up to a computer outside to have it by the pool in the summer, and figured I would typically keep a short 6' cable attached, but since the picture quality and sound are great, there wasn't a need to use anything else.

Shipped extremely fast and arrived in perfect condition. The cable, at 25', doesn't loose any of it's video quality at this length. I tried the 6' cable connected to see if their was a difference in picture.... nope. No change in picture quality between the 6' and the 25'.... go big!

This does a GREAT job sending a VERY good picture across the room. Don't believe all the hype about more expensive cables. This is all you need.
