Don't waste your money on this little fan. Straight out of the package, I couldn't fit two D batteries in it. Just needed a fraction of an inch to make two fit. Even with the batteries jammed in there the best I could the fan wouldn't start. I wish I had read the reviews on Camping Worlds website.

I desperately needed fridge fans for my two campers

I ordered two and got them very quickly. They both had been opened previously. I tried to put the batteries in immediately to check to see if the fans worked. The batteries did not fit at all. I tried forcing them and still no fit. Sent back and got refund.

I was worried after reading the reviews about the battery compartment being too small for the batteries. Unless you are a complete idiot, the batteries fit. Yes, it is tight, but they fit. The fan works great and allows for circulation within the frig that I used for small scale dry aging of steaks. I bought two and will buy more when need be.
