I bought this program to make simple family newsletters, student handouts, and various other projects. I have found it fairly easy to use with lots of pictures, fun fonts and pre-made projects. My daughter, who is 8 has been able to make birthday cards for friends and family without much difficulty. There are no written instructions so you have to feel your way through most of it; this is a simple process although a bit time consuming at the start. The one feature I am very disappointed with is the picture/graphics search option. When looking for graphics you literally have to scroll through each section beginning to end to find a graphic; there is a search option but even very general searches (like "flower") usually produce no results. Basically the search option is useless which makes finding the graphics you want a tedious and sometimes long process.
For what I want to do this program works just fine and I have used it with worthwhile results.

there are better easier to use programs but this isn't bad for the price. Produce calendars, brochures, business cards and more but be patient.

This program is equal to MS Publisher at a fraction of the cost. I used Pub for the last 18 years and found Print Workshop amazing to work with. Love it!

I have this program and yes, you can do a lot with it. If you just need to produce a couple of items. it is fine. But I have created brochures for my small business and decided that rather than deal with producing them all the time I would have a printer run them. Generally, printers want the document in Word. WELL...NO CAN DO! You cannot convert these documents to word. You can save them in PDF, but not Word! I purchased the program, I created the document and I SHOULD be able to save it in Word or, whatever program I want. But, no. Can't be done. I will never EVER buy another software product fromt these people again.

It did what I needed it to do? Open a file ext that all my other software did not recognize so I am pleased.
