The book itself is a great concept. The pages are easy to read and fill in. The only problem is that the binder is really too small for all of the pages to fit. Also, the pockets for keeping receipts are not standard size, so it makes it difficult to fit regular paper in them. The book is a great tool for cataloging your insurance worthy items, but don't plan on keeping the product manuals in there too, there isn't enough room. Overall though, a good book, snazzy cover, and easy to use.

I bought this product half-knowing that it was a rip-off, but I figured a pretty binder and colorful pages would motivate to get my insurance inventory done and so it would be worth the money. Wrong. The product has a lot of problems, and it's really not usable. The biggest problem is that everything is too small. The binder is not thick enough, so that pages get scrunched up when you turn them. This problem gets worse as you need to add your own things to supplement the pockets for receipts (again, too small) and the envelope to hold photos (too small and thin and there's only one.)

My wife and I just recently moved, and decided to get this, since we had relied so much on Moving.kit by the same authors. We got this right before we left to keep everything in order, know what we had, what insurance we should get, what could get lost stolen, etc.
The layout is perfect for simple inventory, and helped us figure out just what insurance to get. It's surprising to discover exactly what you have and how much its worth.
Now that we're settled, we're glad we have all this info on file now, and every time we make any major purchase, we file it away in Valuables.doc.
Another quality product from the aptly named Buttoned Up.
