Probably one the greatest books in economics. A lot of concepts we, economists, use every day come from this book. Not a lot to comment, but my recommandation is read it, just read it and economic theory will have a new flavor..

i received the precious book above with great pleasure since i had already read the chinese version of it,the translation was translated by one of my college professor in china. And during the 1990s i even wrote to the author to see if he has any spare copy of the book, value and capital,mr hicks was kind enough to me by sending me a selected papers i/o the book,as he said,he was pleased to know any person in china still interested in his books.and in 1940 another person from chongqing wrote to him. so the book is a good memeory for me to the dear professor hicks.and now, i would say the book was carefully preserved ,only some minor crossing in the book.
the seller is very kind to have the book covered with great care. thank you. karl xiaoqing tian |
