These are nice pieces with a large roll up board. If you've played on small or strange chess sets before this will be a break for your eyes and your brain. It's very easy to see each piece on the green white board and the pieces are large but not too large for the size of the board.

As advertised, this set comes with unweighted pieces. This means they don't weigh much and are constructed of hollow plastic. If you're looking for a weighted set, they sell this same one with weighted inserts that will offer a much heavier feel to your pieces. This one works fine, but just be aware that the pieces aren't weighted.

I love it because it's nice & big to play with --the right size, & it's light & portable & flexible. All you need is a flat surface to lay it on set up the pieces & start playing immediately. Also it's very good on the eyes & easy to see where all the pieces --black & white are because you can see the black pieces clearly against the green squares. I can't think of any way to improve it!

WELL IF THAT IS TRUE THEN I WANT MY LIFE TO BE A GAME OF CHESS PLAYED WITH THIS SET HERE BECAUSE IT'S A BEAUTIFUL SET AND IT DON'T COST MUCH. AND AFTERALL ISN'T THAT WHAT WE'RE ALL LOOKIN FOR? A BEAUTIFUL LIFE THAT DON'T COST AN ARM AND A LEG?

THE PIECES ARE NICE AND HEAVY TOO. LIKE YOU COULD HURT SOMEBODY IF YOU WINGED ONE AT HIM.

RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS, CUZ ADULTS ARE ONLY BIG CHILDREN SCARED TO CRY FOR THEIR MOMMA AND CURL UP IN THE FETAL POSITION.
