This review is from: Valuing a Business, 5th Edition: The Analysis and Appraisal of Closely Held Companies (McGraw-Hill Library of Investment and Finance) (Hardcover)
I was shocked at the complexity of the subject, but more so at how well the author handled that complexity. She presented an amazing amount of information in an easily digestible format. There was also a fair amount of information on related subjects as well. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking to improve their knowledge on this subject.

This is the Bible of business valuation and is the most comprehensive book on business valuation available. Now in it's 5th edition; Shannon's book covers every aspect of valuing a small business. This book is also used by the International Business Brokers Association as their textbook. Great book. Useful as a both a comprehensive guide and a reference manual for the seasoned intermediary.
