We lived in Mexico for 10 years and due to my husband's work we moved to Chicago. Thanks to Tatiana, my kids still listen to music in spanish and learn songs that i heard from my grandparents when i was a kid. Great CD for your kids.

Tatiana is a talented singer and entertainer that few have heard of outside the Spanish-speaking community because all her songs are in Spanish. (The rest of the world listens to lots of songs in English, but English-speakers are less willing to explore other languages' music.) She went from an early pop career in the '80s as a teenager in Mexico to sing children's music in the '90s and beyond, and hosts a children's show on Mexican television ("El Espacio de Tatiana," carried in the U.S. on Univision). This album has lots of catchy tunes that are aimed at kids, but can be enjoyed by people of all ages. My Spanish isn't very good, but I liked them anyway. Included is a remake of "Chicas de Hoy," one of the songs from her earlier pop career. If you're trying to learn Spanish, check out Tatiana's albums and TV show and see if you can understand what the words mean.

After a solid 15 gold records career (and 4 platinum) in pop music in Mexico, Tatiana picked up the childrens needs for songs and has established herself as the undisputed Queen of the Children. This is her great 5th record (not counting her two christmas albums also for children) and she has already accumulated 16 gold records, 6 platinum in less than 4 years. It is not just that she has rescued for our children the old children songs, she has imprinted her fresh and authentic style, never "interpreting" but being herself. Children love her and so do we the parents. A must to have.

I highly recommend any Tatiana CD for parents who want to expose their child to Spanish. Her songs are fun and catchy, and easy to understand. Our 14 month old son adores Tatiana...we took him to see her in concert and he danced and ¨sang¨ through the whole 2 hour show. In fact, when he's grumpy, putting in a Tatiana CD is the only thing that puts him in a better mood!

I just want to say that not only this cd ALL Tatiana's cd's are great, you don't have to doubt to buy them or not just do it and you'll see why I like so much Tatiana, she is a great singer, very charismatic, and her music is very listenable. SHE IS THE WORLD'S GREATEST SINGER!
