Marissa, a young inept witch still in Witchcraft High School sets out to learn if vampires really exist. Marissa discovers they do when she encounters Dominic, a fledgling vampire, and is stunned when the gorgeous hunk insists she's his life mate and his only defense against Lynetta, a centuries old vamp determined to force him to replace the lover she lost two hundred years ago.

When Marissa consents to share her blood with Dominic, she accidentally consumes a small amount of his. As a result, she develops some vampire qualities and to the surprise of them both, Dominic acquires the traits of a warlock which allows him to enter the high school she attends. He won't leave Marissa's side as Lynetta sees her as a threat and is determined to destroy her.

As the two fight the evil Lynetta and her underlings, they learn to use their new skills to protect themselves and each other, and their love grows.

This is a fun, unusual story that combines the eeriness of witchcraft and vampires set amid the social system of teenagers in high school. I'd recommend this book for any young adult.

This action-packed vampire romance showcases the enormous talent of the author. Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse for Marissa and Dominic, Terry Lee Wilde threw fast curves with twists that kept me turning the pages to find out what happened next in this paranormal.

In a few words (not worth wasting my time any more than that): silly, stupid, ridiculous. And ABSOLUTELY SEXIST. Why the hell is the HOTTT!! vampire guy supposed to be soooooo much better at everything than the poor, stupid, clumsy (yes, OF COURSE she is clumsy) girl?? I mean, she is a witch who sucks at witchcraft, and he is not a wizard, but is great at it (this is just an example). My God. Awful book.
