5.0 out of 5 stars I don't wanna grow up..., April 25, 2008

This review is from: Vampire Knight, Vol. 4 (v. 4) (Paperback)
...but I don't want to be a vampire!

Volume 1 of Vampire Knight introduced us to sweet Yuki, angsty Zero, and mysterious Kaname. They make quite a triangle and could carry the story all by themselves. Books two and three introduced more interesting characters, from a vampire hunter to...Well, I don't want to ruin the plot but Volume 4 delves into Zero's past. Get this series! You will not be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Vampire love, June 5, 2008

This manga has a good story, it has romance and the darkness that one would get from a vampire story, not to mention the cuteness that one would get from a Shojo manga. All the main characters have an explanation of there beings and the artwork is completely beautiful. I would recommend this story to anyone that like dramas of vampires, it kind of reminds me of a manga version of a teen novel I used to read called Vampire Diaries, so if you haven't checked that out, please do you'll enjoy, that is if you don't mind stories with no pictures.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cross Academy vs. Shizuka Hio, January 23, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Vampire Knight, Vol. 4 (v. 4) (Paperback)
Vampire Knight, vol. 4 was awesome! Maria Kurenai was born frail, but she's a Night Class student. She's playing tricks on the Night Class, including Yuki and Zero. In the ballroom dance event, Yuki and Kaname finally did slow dancing alone outside the balcony as a couple. Kaname loves her so much, since he saved her from the vicious level E vampire from 10 years ago. Shizuka and Maria are playing dangerous games to Yuki and Zero. But Ichiru appears from the upstairs. So Zero and Ichiru are reunited at Cross Academy. After Zero, Ichiru, and Shizuka have an intense battle, Kaname has a conversation w/ her, and he stabs her. Shizuka is one vicious vampire who killed Zero and Ichiru's parents. This is such a good story from Vampire Knight vol. 4.

4.0 out of 5 stars vampire knight is awesome!!!!, May 13, 2009
This review is from: Vampire Knight, Vol. 4 (v. 4) (Paperback)
I love this series! In this book we dive deeper into the deliciously sad life of Zero Kiryu. Poor guy his life sucks in this book. We find out about The new transfer student and how she is involved in the story. yuki is faced with a decision and Kaname has a secret. A new caracter shows up and turns the whole story upside down. I love this book and I just want to give Zero a big hug and tell him his life sucks but still!

4.0 out of 5 stars Gets better with each installment., August 19, 2008
This review is from: Vampire Knight, Vol. 4 (v. 4) (Paperback)
Matsuri Hino, Vampire Knight vol. 4 (ViZ, 2006)

The truth of the identity of the new transfer student is revealed, and (as usual) Zero has angst over his condition. Cheer up, emo kid. We're getting to see more of the night class members' personalities, which makes it easier to tell them apart, which is a very good thing. There's more gravitas to this series than I'm used to seeing from manga, and that is a very good thing. I'm becoming quite impressed with this series. ****
