Pretty good and broad collection,

I first picked up this book while browsing at a book store and was so taken in by the very first story, "Phantoms" that I had to buy it.
The book covers the entire spectrum of vampire stories in all ways. Stories first published over 140 years ago as well as modern work appear in this collection. There are also alot of original takes on the vampire story, moving away from the tried and tired stories. Some of the stories are a bit long and may seem to drag on, but with any collection, not every story will be great. If you're a fan of vampire folklore and/or horror you should definitly take a look at this book. |
