4.0 out of 5 stars Classic nutcase--fun read!
Summers actually believed vampires exist. Rambling and sometimes incoherent, but with lots of little-known vampire lore! This guy's the father of vampire studies in the English speaking universe.

3.0 out of 5 stars Vampire Girl
The shipping was fast and it was well packaged. The book cover and print were nice. It was a pretty boring read. I didn't get to far into it before I gave up.

1.0 out of 5 stars Horrible edition, May 30, 2011

This review is from: The Vampire, his Kith and Kin (Forgotten Books) (Paperback)
This is a horrible edition and is riddled by grammatical errors. It is more difficult to read than it is to follow. Some quotations are translated within the text while others are not. References are made to notes that are listed at the end of the book. Would be easier to follow if endnotes were included within the text.
I have not read any of the other versions, though I am sure that they are better than this one.
