This book was one I read 3 decades ago when Anne Rice was still scribbling her first book. Simple, straightforward and suspenseful stories that work even in today's plethora of vampire works. The illustrations, though crude by today's standards, add to the imagery that the stories invoke. Overall I recommend this book for your vampire/horror library.
