I Cannot Say Enough About These Books
on October 7, 2012
This is the wonderful collection of the first books in Aiden James' series, and a fantastic way to dip your toes in and fall in love with his work.
In The Vampires' Last Lover, Txema Ybarra is but a simple college girl, until her life is turned upside down, and she finds herself both the salvation of a race and the prey of another.
In Cade's Cove, you'll meet Allie Mae- and you'll probably wish you hadn't. One of my favorite series by Mr. James, Cades Cove is a dark and twisted tale of a vengeful spirit, generations that intertwine, and a man's determination to save his family.
In Plague of Coins, you're introduced to William Barrow, better known as Judas Iscariot. A father, an immortal man in love with a mortal woman, a desperate man seeking redemption, and even as he journeys to find it, finds trouble around every curve.
In The Forgotten Eden, Paradise can be found in the oddest of places, but like everything else, it isn't all it seems. Another of my favorites, evil is given a very pleasing form in this tale of childhood trauma in a ideallic setting.
And in Deadly Night, come meet Jimmy Alea and his charming wife, Fiona. A musician at heart, a paranormal investigator by trade, murder worms its way into Jimmy's life and the spirits refuse to rest easy. I adore this series as well, mainly because of the snarky humor that runs through every page. Definitely a unique twist on the paranormal!
