I was not disappointed with the continuing saga of William and his friends. I was surprised by the actions of his son. The next novel may shed some light upon his true turn around. Anyways, this is a great vampire novel. Has a little of everything in it. Zombies, werewolves, vampires, a Goddess (who is the "slayer"). Great reading material. Hard to put down.

Vampires, werewolves, voodoo priestess and a Mayan Goddess...what's not to like?! The blend of so many interesting and unique paranormal elements makes for a fantastic read!
Jack is left to watch over Savannah while William is trying to find a kidnapped voodo priestess. Bad vampires have her and they have discovered that her blood is very powerful.

This book has a little bit of everything in it! I loved it! From the hottness that is Jack and William to the utter thrilling suspense that keeps us reading for hours on end.

I felt the The Vampires Kiss was the best one in the series. William goes to England to rescue Renee, the Daughter of his beloved friend. His wife whom he discovered is still alive and also is a Vampire kidnapped her. Jack stays home to take care of things. William reunites with his son, and shocks him when he reveals to him that he is his true Father. William's beloved Eleanor betrayed him and left with his wife and son, and his wife's lover, will he rescue her or kill her? The next book in the series come out on April 29,2008 and I already have it pre-ordered.

The Vampire's Kiss continues all of the thrills and suspense of the first two novels, while providing plenty of new twists and turns. In this book, we see the true dark side of William the vampire master (who as gone to London to "take care of business"), while his protege Jack maintains a sense of humor as he holds down the fort against a serious werewolf threat in Savannah. I won't spoil any surprises, but the introduction of Seth, a good-guy werewolf, was a delight. Oh, yes, and it's sexy, too! An outstanding continuation of a great cast and plot.

The stakes are raised, no pun intended, in this third book following William and Jack, the two Savannah vampires. Alternately poignant and funny, it is a page-turner. I HAD to keep reading to find out what would happen and now I can't wait until the next book.

What can I add to the praise offered by other reviewers of this book? It's so gripping that I could not put it aside and ate dinner with it in hand. Hubby looked at the cover, said, "Oh, that's Raven Hart's new book, isn't it? Never mind. I'll make dinner."

Gotta love a man like that. The fact that I rave over Raven enough for him to know I wasn't putting it down says it all!

Can't say enough about Raven and her boys! This book will snag you into the series and keep you absolutely captivated from start to finish!

This is the third book in The Savannah Vampires Series and it's as exciting and fun to read as the others-also rated 5 stars. It's the continuing saga of the Savannah vampires, William Cuyler Thorne and Jack McShane. I will do my best to do some telling without revealing.

Due to the cliffhanger ending of book two, William is forced to go on a journey far from the city he's been protecting for centuries, leaving it under the protection of Jack. Since William is the biggest, baddest otherworldly creature around town there have been few problems in Savannah in the past, but the word is out that Jack's been left in charge. Can he keep the city safe from ne'er-do-well werewolves while his sire is away?

Will William be able to successfully complete his quest as he struggles to reconcile his past with the most vile evil he's ever come across? Will his weakness be his downfall? Is there truth to the prophecy of a slayer?

Who or what exactly is Connie, the beautiful cop that Jack has taken a shining to?

The story has a creative, interesting plot with vampires, werewolves, voodoo, zombies and the story unfolds at a perfect pace. As always, the author does an excellent job with character development. This is the first time that William and Jack are separated and the conflicts they meet and how they handle them are a true test of their strengths and weaknesses. It's a very thrilling read that's just the right length and will appeal to anyone that enjoys the paranormal genre. The book has a cliffhanger ending leading to the next book, The Vampire's Betrayal, that was released in April, 2008. The fifth book in the series, The Vampire's Revenge, is due out in January, 2009.

I can't say it enough-these are just great reads. This series is as thrilling as it is funny and it never lets up. You don't necessarily have to read the preceding books in order to enjoy this one, but I highly recommend you do. You'll get such a wealth of information on the characters that will lead to a better understanding of their depth. Highly recommended and one of my favorite series'.

This page turning book was absolutely amazing. It never stops getting interesting for000 the real vamp fans or the people just starting to get into them.I must say Raven Hart writes a good story here that I am speechless.
