Use it as a chair until you need a step stool, then simply flip the hinged back into place for a sturdy 3 step stool with an overall height of 34". The library ladder kit comes complete with solid red oak component parts, hardware and detailed, easy to follow assembly instructions. Assembly rating 1-requires a minimal amount of trimming, sanding and staining.
