I bought this because I enjoy a light roast coffee in the morning + it was on sale for $15.35. I wish I had bought more for that price. This is one of the best light roast coffee's I've ever had. I read a few reviews of this on [...], which gave very high marks, now I can see why.

Wow, what a great cup of coffee. Try it if you like any of the breakfast blends available out there. If your a light roast lover like I am, you will love this single origin coffee.

I'm pretty much in concordance with Will the first reviewer. I use to drink Costa Rica Tarrazu when I bought it through Gevalia's coffee program. So when Amazon had it on sale I bought a two pack just to see if the two brands were similar. I can report yes they are. I brew mine in my B40 7.5Oz setting and what a wounder coffee it is. I love the aroma when it first starts filling my cup. A light roast with a mild after taste. Never overpowering. I drink my coffee with cream and a sugar substitute. This one wins a spot on my 10 top most favorites list

If you like a light roast, this coffee is for you. You will not be disappointed.

Hint #1 I highly suggest that you get some type water filtration system for your coffee water
Hint #2 I immediately remove the used K-cup after brewing and leave the K-Cup holder open to avoid
the accumulation of that stale coffee smell to permeate the k-cup holder.

Amazon placed the Van Houtte blends on sale recently. I had tried Van Houtte coffees on a trip to Canada and really enjoyed them. I figured the K-Cups would probably stack up to the batch brewed coffee I had on my trip. My thought turned out to be correct. The Costa Rica Tarrazu is a very smooth, medium roast. It has a bright, slightly sweet and lightly acidic flavor, followed by a pleasant, lingering finish with no bitterness. The aroma when brewing is pleasant. I don't use milk or sugar in my coffee, so I'm not fond of really acidic roasts. This is one of the better K-Cups I have tried.

Not for you if you like a very dark roast. But if you appreciate a good City roast, definitely put this one on your list. I'll be a repeat customer.

I've tried more than 20 K-cups found on Amazon since purchasing my machine in early 2009. To give an idea of what other blends I enjoy-Donut Shop, Wolfgang Puck Vienna, Kona Blend, Gloria Jeans Hazelnut-so generally medium roasts with decent but not overpowering coffee flavor. This is my favorite. It is a very smooth aromatic cup of coffee with a wisp of nut flavor. I usually add a bit of creamer and a splenda to my coffee. This is perfect. I like it on all settings but I tend to use the medium most.

I love this coffee a lot because it's mild and has flavor .However I'm shocked at the price of this Van Houtte Costa Rica Tarrazu Coffee .Since Van Houtte wont ship this coffee to the USA and has dismantled their web site ,you only have 1 choice , Amazon .There for around $50 you can buy 48 cups roughly $1.04 per cup .But wait ,and I spent a few hours researching the availabilty of this coffee .I found a web site "tweedandhickory" where they sell 24 k cups or loose coffee in a bag for around $17 , and they do ship to the USA although expensive around $18 .BUT!! here is what you do if you like this coffee so much as I do.The shipping charges while high for 1 order ,increasing your order the shipping is a tiny bit more .SO!! if you buy 5 24 cup boxes and ship to the USA (Boston area) the cost including shipping is $89 thats .74c a cup .This is what I'll do ,maybe we can break the Tarrazu cartel ,because not even Keurig carries it .I hope Amazon will publish this review because it would be a great saving for the readers that like this coffee . I think no one should pay more than .75c a cup .

Since I wrote this review I discovered another online site "filterfreshlv.com they sell this Tarraszu for $14.95 for 24 cups plus shipping .Spend $50 ,shipping is free .I can't understand why Amazon my favorite company deals with this company that lists the retail price at $33 which is crossed out and the price is now $45.95 plus tax .

Unfortunately a big scam is being is being played here Filter Fresh and the Amazon seller are both advertizing Tarrazu and are delivering Costa Rican coffee .The only similarity is the Van Houtte printed on the box .It's virtually impossible to buy Tarrazu in this country so some sellers are showing a picture of a split label cup which says Tarrazu ,but when you buy and open the box the cups have a black label which says Costa Rican coffee .Folks there is a difference and these sellers are substituting Costa Rican coffee knowingly and charging outragious prices.This should be stopped ,and twice I have bought what was advertized as Tarrazu and wasn't .After pointing out to these sellers they told me to keep the coffee and refunded my money ,but continue to bait and switch the public.The only place to get Van Houtte Tarrazu coffee is in Canada and most companies wont ship to the USA.In conclusion the Costa Rican coffee is good but not as good as Tarrazu ,so you will have to drink this slightly inferior coffee .I just get upset about the games being played.

I'm not a coffee snob or anything, but this is simply the best tasting coffee we've used in our K-cup machine. We've only tried about 10 or 12 different varieties, so keep that in mind, but this now our go to flavor.

This coffee delivers a strong flavor without being a dark roasat. By comparison, it makes many other coffees just seem bland. This is a coffee that will appeal to everyone.

I REALLY like this... right now, it's my favorite. It's not bitter and has great "coffee taste". I thought dark roasts were my favorite, but this light roast is surprisingly good.

We have not enjoyed this coffee at all - it is very weak and tastes like it came out of a regular coffee maker - not a Keurig! If you like very weak coffee I am sure it would suit you...but to use up the K-cups I bought, we are now brewing two cups - one Costa Rican (middle cup size) and one dark roast bold and pouring half of each into each cup when we have our morning coffee! We will never buy this one again.

It's a lighter roast as the title indicates...and good for the early morning for me.

I got this on a special..48 kcups for $15 shipped. This is a pretty good coffee...4.5 stars. Giving it 5 stars for the ridonkulous price.

I will keep my eye out for this again.
