1.0 out of 5 stars Not a single redeeming aspect to this game January 25, 2010
Platform for Display:Xbox 360
Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
Total 100% miss with this game. They state there are 14 events, but really that is hardly true, there is downhill skiing/snowboarding (lumped into one since the snowboarding is virtually identical to the skiing....really), Toboggan/luge/skeleton(again all one in the same on this game), Ski long jump (basically wait 12 seconds for the load time and then compete for about 10 seconds), speed skating(actually the only decently thought out and executed event). That is it...4 events really. You begin by being able to select your country, but it makes no difference who you choose. What they should have done is include a lot more events, and made all the countries a little different in the proficiences in each event and then had you compete in each type of event. Not at all what they did, you simply pick the event you want to compete in, and try to place. There is no record keeping of cumulative medals won vs other countries, no 'Medal Standings' nothing. This is nothing more than a 800 MS Point Arcade game (a rather forgettable one at that), that got a full retail release. Shameless.
One last thing, the online vs is OK. The 2 games I played online both filled up quickly (no idea how....who is buying this junk??) and there were no lag issues or anything like that. Remember of course that you only get to play one event online though...no 'Medal Standings' after several events, just one go through of one of the 4 events and their identical events with different names.

1.0 out of 5 stars Stay away from this game! January 16, 2010
Platform for Display:Xbox 360
Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
This game is horrible. It only has 14 events and many of them are near replicas of each other. The game will provide you about a half hour of enjoyment because the events are identical and poorly constructed. If this was a $10 xbox arcade purchase I would rate this game a 2.5/5 but as it stands as a $49 title it is a piece of junk. If you need an olympic game fix pickup the last summer olympic one for the 360; at least that will give you a few hours of enjoyment.

4.0 out of 5 stars Mindless Fun January 15, 2013
Platform for Display:Xbox 360|Verified Purchase
If you're looking for a no brainer type of fun and relaxation this is your game. I read the reviews and even tried out the demo on Xbox 360 live before I bought this game so I knew it wasn't going to be as riveting as Skyrim. Some of the games are challenging especially the bobsled racing. I'm enjoying it because it's mindless and something fun to do to pass the time. I think it's a great purchase for under $15.00. I would buy again from this seller. Super packaging and quick shipping.

4.0 out of 5 stars great Olympic game June 15, 2011
Platform for Display:Xbox 360
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
i had to write a review because i saw how bad the others were. I actually enjoyed this game a lot. It has split screen multiplayer, good phsyics so that you can play the same event over and over to get better at it, then compare your time to the world on the leaderboards. I really love the luge, and the option to switch to 1st person view in almost all the events. It is not a perfect game and would benefit from a couple more events added, but overall i think it is a great olympics game. the graphics are pretty good as well, especially at simulating high speeds. Good game, any fan of winter sports games will love it!
