A dark, rich, resonate mouthpiece.,

Despite the closed opening of the mouthpiece, this produces a dark, warm, rich tone and pitch. The higher register keys sound not so squeaky, and the lower bass clefs are soothingly dark and rich. Good for an intermediate student all the way to a professional.

I play on a 7 year old Yamaha Bb Clarinet and the original mouthpiece, a standard Vandoren B45, was long over due for replacing. This mouthpiece is perfect for any one from intermediate (9th grade, approximately) to even a professional. It produces a rich, smooth sound with little waver due to vibrations from the reed. In addition, it is not only great for a concert band but, in my own personal experience with it, it is perfect for marching band.
Overall, I am very impressed with this mouthpiece. |
