Product Description

The universal reed, Vandoren Traditional Saxophone Reeds are widely used among professionals in all genres. This reed is designed to produce a quality of extremely pure sound due to a very thin reed tip (the area of reed with maximum vibration) and a solid vertebral column (more cane in the area which climbs gradually to the heel). These reeds are recognizable by a straight line to delineate the limit of the area of bark. The favorite reed of recognized saxophonists like Stan Getz, Lee Konitz and Marcel Mule, Vandoren Traditional Reeds have always been used with equal success by many players.

Very good reeds. I use them with Guardala MB II tenor sax mouthpiece and they provide an even sound in all ranges and feel comfortable for blowing and have good response.

Great reeds, theres really nothing bad I can say they deliver a good sound and the 2's are good when you're being lazy but I step up to the 2.5's when I really want to play
