These reeds are darker and more balanced than the traditional Vandoren reeds. I like the wide cut - it feels more substantial. My tone in the clarino register is very rich and it makes me want to play slow and with lots of emphasis... exactly the type of response you want from your instrument - some kind of inspiration.

These reeds are wonderful. I purchased them for my son who plays clarinet in the 8th grade band. These are the reeds his band instructor preferred. He gets a nice tone using these reeds and they last longer than other reeds we have used. The box of 10 are decently priced and should last quite awhile.

I love these reeds, they last forever. If you take care of them they can last several months. I have played clarinet for four years and have played on these for three of those years. They really are the best quality. I LOVE THEM!

No, these are not cheap to purchase, but they sound better than anything we have tried to date and last far longer. The initial cost is a bit higher than the rest, but the lifespan of them more than makes up the difference. Great sound and long life. What else could you ask for?

These are great reeds for the money. They hold up very well and I find that we are buying less reeds as a result.

These are one of the finest reeds I have used. If you are looking for the best sound quality, it can not be beat. Altho i do not recommend these for a begginer, as a average beginner will not be able to distinguish much difference in reed brands and these are particually expencive. All in all, these will rise to any chalenge they are put to, and are the best for profectionists

These are great the best I have played with. I have encountered about 3 or 4 duds, but no problem. However, I am trying the new reed Rue Lepic by Vandoren "hope it's good."
