Product Description

Designer 81 is a popular laptop hard case made for the business person who's all about style and functionality. It's a hit due to its plush, shock-absorbing interior that provides outstanding protection for a laptop up to 14 inches. This 2.4"-deep hard case has a brushed aluminum finish that matches its attractive grey interior. The inside also has removable dividers and quick-access pockets for multiple files and small accessories. This case is very sharp looking, the interior comes with a divider that can be moved and lots of pockets. Looks very nice from the outside but the handle is not the greatest quality it feels good but the paint chips off it easy. Unfortunately it did not fit my Dell 700m it seamed like the laptop was just about 1/4 inch too thick, I had to squeeze the case to close it.

This case is very nice...well built and sleek looking. However, the capacity is slightly less than advertised, and my Dell Latitude D600 (1.25" x 12.5" x 10.25") did not fit. Actual inner dimensions are probably .25" to .5" less than stated.

Besides this, it's a great case: I am going to order the next size bigger right now.

Ordered the case for a 17" laptop. The dimensions shown on many web sites are overestimates! Many do not include the size of the padding or the fact that the hinge is mounted on the inside! Very disappointing.
The actual usable inside space is closer to: 9.75" x 14.75" x 1.25" (inch)
