Great gun rest, adjustable for both high and low shooting positions, and well constructed, it is a solid rest, and did not move under recoil of .308, 7.62x54R, and .338 LAPUA recoil.

I purchased this just before my Prairie Dog shoot this year and wanted something that had at least 4-6" of elevation (quickly). This is basically a camera tri-pod with a gun rest affixed to it. It is a great product for the price and it worked so well, my shooting buddies just ordered themselves one. Light weight, durable and I can tell this will last me for quite some time.

Like the title says, it works well as a gun rest. The materials and workmanship on both the upper bag portion and the tripod are good. It has what is described as a one handed locking/unlocking feature to raise or lower the rest. This feature works ok- it's a rubber disc (friction lock) that you lift in order to raise or lower the rest. The downside is that if you raise the disc to make an adjustment with one hand the rest will slide down all the way unless you hold it up. This is my only complaint about this product but it is by no means a deal breaker. Get this if you don't want to have to buy a bunch of bipods for each of your guns.
Some things that aren't mentioned:
-the bag comes filled for you (i don't know whats inside, it feels like plastic beads)
-the bag seems to be completely sealed so you can't add your own fill
-with all the legs out, the tripod covers an area about 13" in diameter
-the top rest part and the tripod can separate which is nice for space saving in a range bag

I got tired of using the cumbersome and unstable wood blocks and sandbags at the range, so I started looking around for an adjustable rifle rest. Most of them out there are in the $75+ range but I came upon the Vanguard Porta-Aim, liked the reviews, and purchased it. Took it to the range a couple of weeks ago and it worked like a charm.

I love it. It works beautifully. It's light and folds down to a great size to carry in my range bag. I can't recomend it highly enought. Fantastic product.

This rest was much better than I expected. The legs are very sturdy and everything cosmetically looks and functions perfectly. The quick height adjust is smooth as silk and will do everything I will need it to do. You can also tighten a collar so that the 360 degree rotation is stiff or locked, or loosen the collar to spin freely.

I purchased this for me and my daughter to sight in our scopes and shoot our .22 rifles. With sandbags for the rear, and this for the front, it was a breeze.

The quick height adjust (watch the video) is what sold me. I have no regrets. If you like the way it operates on the video, you will love it in person.

This a great rest for bench shooting, it is light and portable but still as steady as any rest I have used.... and it fits in your day pack.

Compact, yet has enough weight to support heavier weapons. Worked just as good for 17 Cal and M1. Actually functions better than expensive rests. Great product, great price, folds up to transport.

This rest has just enough weight to help keep it stable.YET IS light enough for easy transport. Vertical adjustment is the right height when shooting from a bench. For the money this rest is a great buy.

very nice tripod for shooting, very stable, adjust to lever best to sighting your rifle, folds up to fit into your shooting bag, padding rest will not scratch your barrel, i look forward to years of use. basic unit does not have any unneeded bells you do not have to have.
