Disc one, "Roots of Folk," reaches back to songs like Tom Dooley and Kumbaya sung by stars from Paul Robeson to Doc Watson to the Weavers. Disc two, "Singers & Songwriters," features It Ain't Me Babe Joan Baez with Bob Dylan; The Universal Soldier Buffy Saint-Marie; M.T.A. Kingston Trio, and more. Disc three, "Folk Blues," adds soul stirrers by Son House, Muddy Waters and more. 45 tracks, 3 CDs, a nice low price and a folk set like no other!

Some really great old cuts from artists rarely heard now. The old analog recordings cleaned up very nicely. Divided into roots, blues and 60's contemporary folk. Cisco Houston, Rambling Jack, Dave Van Ronk, Leon Bibb, and about 30 others, what's not to like?
