Fantastic binoculars, an exceptional value at this price point. Terriffic clarity, works well both in bright and dim light, bright crystal clear view. 10x magnification is a good all-round level that will suit most situations. Used camping and at sporting events to good effect. These are high-performance binoculars at a tremendous price. You'll be hard pressed to find better without spending a lot more. This is my first purchase of a Vanguard product, and based on performance of these binoculars, bought a Vanguard VSH 781 spotting scope that I'm also very pleased with.

I recently purchased the 10 x 42 Vanguard Spirit Binoculars. They are very clear and user friendly. At a little over 21 oz's. I don't mind carrying them around my neck either. Opticaly I compared them to my more exdpensive brand and they showed images that are just as crisp and clear. Good buy for the money.

I recently purchased the Vanguard Spirit 1042 binoculars for glassing while hunting. The long eye relief on the Vanguard binoculars in my opinion is the best on the market beating all the big names. I've worn glasses for decades and have always had to take my glasses off to use them. The Vanguards I can put up to my glasses and have a full unrestricted field of view which is absolutely essential if you quickly need to glass something. The optics are crystal clear. The ergonomics are such that this old man whose hands tend to shake a little, can steady the 10x magnification with ease. These are high dollar quality binoculars at a reasonable price!
